In the town next to mine they are selling felt brooches just like this for absolutely insane prices, and people are buying them. This was my first attempt at getting on that bandwagon.
The feathers I'd had for a long time, I have a lot more, too - we picked them up at an aviary when I was a little kid.

This wasn't bad for a first attempt. It needs stiffening, and the finding could be more secure. But the next batch will be a lot better.
